Supporting The Way Free Medical Clinic in Green Cove Springs
Thanks to a grant from Rotary District 6970, the Green Cove Springs Rotary , and the Rotary Clubs throughout Clay County, The Way Free Medical Clinic has a new patient reception area with pandemic-ready furniture, large video monitor, and attractive décor. Rotary Clubs across the world support projects such as ours that address critical issues such as the lack of access to affordable healthcare. The Way Clinic’s patients will now feel more welcome and comfortable in the new waiting area. The grant also provided furniture for The Way’s upcoming second facility on College Drive, now under design phase and expected to open later this year.
Annual Rotary Pickleball Tournament 2021
Our annual Pickleball Tournament was a great success this year. Held December 3, 4 & 5, the event raised funds for local student scholarships. Our thanks to Glee Glisson for organizing this 3-day event and to the City of Green Cove Springs for use of the Thomas Hogans Memorial Gymnasium.
